Geo (Official Release) Core Downloads

Download & install either Geo version 1.2.1 or 1.3. If you wish to evaluate some of the add-on modules you might want to install 1.2.1 (until all optional plugins are available for the newer version).

Geo Optional Components

These plugins are either activated separately in the license key issued by Carbon Graphics or are save-disabled versions of the full option. When requesting a Geo evaluation key - specify the optional component(s) of interest. First download & install The desired Geo version, then download & install these optional components. Please note that Plugins for 1.3 will be added soon.

Obtaining your Geo Evaluation License

Geo will not run without a valid security key from Carbon Graphics. Do the following to unlock your evaluation copy: 

Run Geo. The following dialog will appear:

At this point you do NOT have a security key, but click [OK] anyway. The following Registration dialog will appear:



The Hardware fingerprint value will be different on your machine - copy the displayed values (both Std & Enh fingerprints) and email it along with your name and company details to license@carbongraphics.com. We will reply with a security key which you should enter (along with your name) in the Registration dialog above. You will only need to do this once. 

The temporary security key will allow you to evaluate Geo for 30 days.

Geo Patch Downloads

These Plugin tools are provided free of charge and represent Geo product patch upgrades - these plugins fix reported bugs and will be incorporated into the next Geo release. These plugins can only for used by an authorized Geo licensees (Evaluation or Full) and are covered by the standard Geo license. 

Downloaded plugins should be unzipped (if zipped) and copied to the Geo Tool directory (unless otherwise noted). Prior to the copy - save the original (same-named) plugin/dll in case the downloaded file was corrupted.
