Geo

3D Modeling & Animation for Vis-Sim

Geo is the premiere 3D modeling and animation package available today for the Visual Simulation market. Geo combines multiple image generator format support along with unsurpassed user interaction, customization and extensibility.

Additionally, Geo provides the ability to dynamically control the articulation and behavior of any model part. This behavior mechanism allows the user to hook-up live application data to the model and dynamically control its behavior and appearance at run-time. This makes Geo ideal for modeling 3D articulated models as well as dynamic instrument  displays.

Demo Movies

The following movies (self-running .exe files that require no 'player') showcase Geo's basic interaction model and some of the more commonly-used tools. Although the movies were created with version 1.0 of Geo - they still remain relatively close to the current (1.3) version. The demos should be viewed in the order listed.

Geo Product Breakdown Description

Geo (product code: GEO_BASE) is our standard Geo modeling and animation package. This comes complete with all create, modify, appearance, helper point & line and optimization plugins as well as the Geo plugin developers SDK and GeoScript - Geo's embedded scripting language. Geo is the most cost-effective real-time 3D modeling package available anywhere today and is an ideal choice for that additional modeling seat. The Geo base product can read/write the Geo public domain real-time file format - other optional visual simulation formats and add-ons are listed below.

Geo PRO is a special bundle of the base Geo product and the powerful, What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) Geo behavior engine. This adds data-driven and state machine driven behavior to Geo that can be used for complex inter-dependent 3D articulation as well as MMI & instrumentation applications. Geo PRO also includes a cadre of the three most powerful and important visual simulation file formats - offering unprecedented interoperability: Full bi-directional support is provided for OpenFlight® (versions 12 through 16.1), Designer's Workbench's® DWB (including link editor support) and Aechelon Technology's® HIE run-time Image Generator file format.
