Carbon Graphics has teamed with Princess Interactive Software Technology GmbH to bundle their AutoRoad® highway visual database development tool with Geo PRO, Carbon Graphic's new professional-level 3D modeling and animation tool for the visual simulation market.
AutoRoad allows users to build complex, fully-textured, highway networks using profile definitions and parametric 2D/3D construction tools. The resultant database includes road intersections (in the optional advanced version), multiple levels of detail (LODs), road-side information definition and placement and many other capabilities.
Geo PRO provides a market-leading combination of object modeling and animation tools ideally suited to the creation and editing of real-time content. Use Geo to create 3D cultural objects such as buildings, vegetation and vehicles. Import these objects into AutoRoad for automatic placement with its Road Side Information Editor and/or bring the highway database into Geo for additional large-scale editing, texturing and optimization.
